The Week 2 Forum meets the following course objective:
- Examine the impact of the media on gender socialization and stereotypes.
In this discussion forum, students are required to provide a reaction or brief summary and analysis of a selected supplementary material (e.g. professional web-site, journal article, current event, book, or video). Select one of the following options.
Option One: Select a supplementary article, video, etc. that relates to the weekly readings. Provide a brief summary of your selected material. Next, explain how your selected source is related to the weekly readings. Include at least two references to the course materials, providing an analysis of the connection between the source and course materials. Also include an APA-formatted citation and link or attachment for the source. Reply to two other posts.

Remember to follow all of the posting requirements (listed below). The video clip is from “Mickey Mouse Monopoly,” a documentary about the effects of Disney and other media on society.
