- Different sources will provide different failure rates depending on the product category, industry, and duration of time passed. Please share one relatively current reported failure rate that you find in a published source. Be sure to include the source (with a complete citation) where you found the statistic and what industry and time frame the statistic is based on.
- Identify one product failure that you found discussed in published literature. Try to utilize sources most people are familiar with such as Time, Business Week, Wall Street Journal, etc.
