Identify a religious person different from your own religion of family origin or practice. That means if you were raised within one of the Christian denominations, you cannot interview a Christian but only non-Christians.
Go into the interview as a reporter, neutral of any values and curious about the religion of the person you are interviewing. Here are some areas to explore: festivals, rituals, beliefs, ethics (especially, on the contemporary issues covered in your text), how you become a religious expert (rabbi, priest, monk, imam, etc), views of other religions, etc.
The paper should 5-6 pages, double-spaced and normal margins and font size. It may be a summary of your investigative reporting.
