At the end of the semester, you will submit a research paper that satisfies the requirements below. If something is not clear, make sure to ask questions. First, please go to https://www.socialpsychology.org/health.htm, scrawl down to specific topics or a topic of interest that was covered during the semester. Narrow down your topic and be very specific.
Instructions:
1. Find at least FIVE empirical studies to support your topic. You will find a list of journals that focus on health psychology topic under https://www.socialpsychology.org/health.htm. You will support your paper by integrating your textbook, psychological concepts and the research that you find in the research. If you unsure of what an empirical research article consists of, make sure to ask me or a librarian.
2. Write an eight double-spaced page paper using APA guidelines. See https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/section/2/10/. Eight pages do not include the front page and the list of reference page.
3. Provide a list of references using APA guidelines.
Hint: Please include what you have learned in your textbook. The best approach is to select a health theory (your favorite), and use the theory to explain the topic. It could be \”health and women,\” \”health and the elderly,\” \”accessing health care for everyone,\” etc. If you have difficulties narrowing down the topic, please let me know, and we can brainstorm a good topic.
