identify the type of methodology used: exploratory, descriptive, or experimental?Explain.

Breakdown of Each Chapter

A general hint is, BE SUCCINCT in what you are assessing. Do not research things that are not going to help solve your research problem and its quantifiable objectives. You only have 2500 words.
1) Introduction,
a. Read the information given in the references and any other literature.
b. From this information write up about the environment and develop your overarching problem that you would like to solve.
2) Literature Review,
a. From the literature review identify the variables that have been measured before (it is a good idea at this point to have a look at the data code book and see what has been measured in the data set and make sure you know about these variables).
3) Research Problem,
a. In this section you need to re-write the overarching research problem and develop a set of specific (SMART) objectives that can be measured using the data set given. Provide not more than 2-3 quantifiable objectives.
4) Methodology,
a. Make sure you identify the type of methodology used: exploratory, descriptive, or experimental?
b. Identify how the data was obtained; phone survey, self-administered questionnaire, focus groups, or personal interviews?
c. What type of sampling was applied and the technique used? Probability, non-probability? Simple random, snowball or something else?
d. Identify the variables used in the survey and how they were measured. E.g. scales used. (These can be identified using the data code book and the questionnaire.)
5) Results
a. Make sure your write up a description of the sample based on the data given.
b. The first thing you should do after describing the sample is to make sure you give a descriptive analysis of all the other variables.
c. Once you have written up a descriptive analysis of the other variables then you can start looking at the between groups analyses.
d. Place these different analyses under different subheadings; e.g. sample, overall analysis, between groups analysis.
e. When conducting between groups analyses make sure you identify where any group differences are.
f. Do not copy and paste from either Excel or SPSS. You will lose marks!! You will have to make up your own tables
g. When writing up the results always place the paragraph explaining the table before the table.
6) Conclusions and Recommendations. In your conclusions you must note the limitations associated with your study.
a. What conclusions can you draw from the results and what recommendation would you give based upon them?
