Igneous rocks form when magma or lava solidifies or cools down. Where does magma come from? Under what conditions do rocks melt and where in Earth does melting occur?

The following diagrams show the three different scenarios that lead to rocks melting. The dots indicate the pressure/temperature conditions of a rock. The dashed arrow is showing how those conditions change. Describe what is happening to pressure and temperature in each diagram, name the type of melting, and decide the most likely scenario for that melting
