Motivational Interviewing Help to Increase the Self Efficacy of Hong Kong Gamblers in Adult

Topic \”Motivational Interviewing Help to Increase the Self Efficacy of Hong Kong Gamblers in Adult\”

I have attached the research proposal and ideal structure for the writer to follow.

The overall wording is around 8000-10000 words.
APA format which including over 20 reference sources.

The research finding should be showing by chart or scale, and the data need to be analysed by SPSS and indicated in the paper. I will attach more instruction in the mail.

This research paper is multiple case study in counselling using the technique of Motivational Interviewing on 3 individual gambling problem clients whose aged within 20-30 years old and having problem in gambling before, the following exam tools used will be in Pre-test/ Mid-term/ Post-test (Total 6 sessions).

1. South Oaks Gambling Screen (SOGS) was developed by Henry Lesieur, Ph.D., and Sheila Blume;
2. Gambling Disorder under DSM5 Criteria to test the level of gambling problem in 3 clients.

As indicating in the topic, I will test their self efficacy by using the following tools in Pre-test/ Mid-term/ Post-test before the client do the SOGS and DSM5 test.

1. General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) by Schwarzer & Jerusalem, 1995

So the tools and event will happen and be applied in the following sequence:

Characteristic:
Client A (Higher self motivation to change, willing to attend the counselling session) /
Client B (Mild motivation to change, under estimate the gambling impact) /
Client C (Lack of motivation to change, low self awareness).

All client are following the same sequence of tools applied and found as the result below (the result could be based on writer\’s judgment under their professional knowledge in motivational interviewing, and I would appreciate if the writer could add his own professional view about the limitation of motivational interviewing.)

Pre-test (Before session 1) (All three shown low self efficacy and mild to high score in gambling problem in SOGS and DSM5)
GSES-SOGS-DSM5

Mid-term (Before session 4) (All three shown improvement in self efficacy, A is better than B & C, show lower score in gambling problem)
GSES-SOGS-DSM5

Pre-test (After session 6) (All three shown fair level of self efficacy, A is high and B & C is mild, show no issue in gambling for A and B, but C is still scoring little of gambling problem mainly on relapse problem.)
GSES-SOGS-DSM5
