I am a nursing student and I let my tuberculosis screening lapse by one day. We are required to be screened yearly. I was given a safety violation and put on probation. To clear the violation, I have to write a 3 page paper on the above topic. That was all the information I was given. The paper doesn’t need to be on accountability and delegation…no delegation. It needs to focus on the importance of nurses being accountable, responsible and following policy and procedures.
