Question 1- Psychological Contract
outline the features and purpose of the psychological contract
Question 2- International HRM
Identify and discuss the problems an expatriate may encounter on returning to their old position in the company after 5 years at one of the company’s overseas subsidiaries.
Question 3-Learning and Development
Why do many organisations fail to prove that training has been a worthwhile business investment? How might they go about doing this?
Students are required to respond to the three questions.
The word limit is 2000 words. Failure to keep within 10% of the designated word count for the assignment will result in a penalty of a reduction of one Grade.
Guidance notes:
Answers to each of the three questions should be structured using a brief introduction, main body and conclusion
The answers must be supported by the use of appropriate academic references. Referencing and citation format must follow the Harvard System. Only one reference list is required for all three answers and this must correspond to your in text referencing
In order to ensure your work reflects current thinking in this fast changing area, you should draw upon academic journal articles as well as the UK Press and textbooks to support your answers
A front cover displaying the word count is required. An electronic copy of work should be available on request if the marker requests it
If you want to state the question at the beginning of your work, please ensure you present this in bold with sufficient space between your response. This will clearly identify that it is not part of your answer and therefore not included in your word count.
A moodle question and answer forum will be set up in order to post your queries. Posting them onto moodle means that everyone can keep up to date with additional guidance provided so it benefits all.
