Prepare a reflection paper of approximately 500 words evaluating your organization with respect to the importance of emotional competence with improving the overall performance of the organization and its personnel. The research suggests that the organizations employing emotional competence training have realized the increased performance results through increases in personnels emotional intelligence. These types of educational programs are more difficult than the traditional technical training sessions utilized by corporations. This is partially due to the entire educational system instructing only the mathematical and linguistic cognitive skills. Unlike intellect (IQ) research has shown emotional intelligence can improve through life. The institution of organizational training programs without implementing a sound assessment program is self defeating. The cost cannot ultimately be justified without being able to illuminate the performance improvements realized by a particular training. This written assignment should focus on the utilization of training programs and their ultimate assessments indicative of both individual and organizational performance improvements.
