Referring to at least two texts we have read thus far, examine the place of women in the textual cultures, i.e. Imagine the world of women in terms of all its complexity such as issues of autonomy, and freedom to choose partners, intellectual pursuits, etc.

This is for my class which is HUMN 3375: Ideas In Transition: Power. There needs to be a strong thesis. The two texts will be the movies “water” and “fire” by deepa mehta. The three main things my professor is looking for are – content of ideas/indepent thinking, critical analysis/textual reading and examples, and language construction/grammar and diction.
