I went to this event: cultural critics through humor “Reflection of a Palestinian citizen of Israel”.
The speaker was Sayed Kashua.

Talk about how interesting the presentation was by the speaker and how he used humor a lot in the presentation which everyone liked and laughed at.
He mentioned his grandmother a lot where she used to tell him stories about Palestine, stories from quran, stories about the prophet and some stories from Ktab alajab (which was a book that has many stories for kids).
She told him about the stories when the war between Israel and Palestine was over. There was still soldiers in the village and they weren’t allowed to leave the village without permission. The only day they were allowed to leave without permission was Israel Independence Day.
One of the things he encountered was being an Arab student in Israel and how Palestine was never mentioned or talked about there, so he had to learn about that from his family and grandmother.
Conclude the paper with saying it was a great time being able to be there and see sayed presenting and listen to how he use humor a lot but still be able to be serious when its needed.
