The student will create a concise yet informative Powerpoint presentation on a particular aspect of any chapter. The topic can be as broad or as specific as the student desires, so a student might choose to do a presentation on Christianity, on Protestantism, on Methodism, on Methodism in America, Methodism since the year 2000, or on the lyrics of Methodist hymns. The presentation may include sound, if the student so wishes. Students may collaborate on a presentation, but if so, I expect to see a finished product that reflects the input and work of multiple students.
There is no required length for the powerpoint presentation option but it should be as complete as possible and demonstrate careful thinking and research. Feel free to do outside reading, but make sure to cite all sources. This project will be graded on the quality of this multi-media presentation, the images selected, topic chosen, and information gathered.
