Research Project: Los Angeles Historic Sites ( Hollywood Bowl ) (1500 words).1. Conduct thorough historical background research for the site you have selected by utilizing both library archival material, peer-reviewed journal articles, historic newspaper articles, and scholarly Internet sources. 3. Once you have done so, take a trip to the site you selected and take a few photos (including one with you in it) and jot down your thoughts and initial impressions of the place. 4. Write your paper. GRADING RUBRIC:2 points: Develop an outline and give it to your “friend” to review for consistency with the grading rubric. Consider the feedback from your friend and prepare a draft report.3 points: Ask your friend to review your draft report. Adjust the report as necessary and prepare the final report. Final Report: 5 points: original purpose of the site, a history of how the site has changed (including changes in how the site is used), your impressions of site now and an analysis of its effectiveness in serving its current purpose.Finally, given how Los Angeles constantly changes, do you have any recommendations that would make better use of the site, and improvements in the sustainability of the site? 5 points: (1500 words) APA format. The text of your paper should be double-spaced and it should include photos and/or other illustrations, graphs, etc. You should add a bibliography and site sources throughout the paper (APA format). You should have at least five sources (excluding sources for photos).
