You should be original- issue driven, and analytical. Identify an issue or issues generated by your reading of the material, and let your choices in this regard inform your writing . Choose specific passages from the text you are working with and analyze its significance with regard to the arguement you are trying to introduce in your paper. Examples used in class can be discussed. Make appropiate analytical connections between the material we are reading and elements of contemporary politics, popular culture,, and whatever else.
