Timeline Project:
Following the completion of the research paper, students will “translate” their topic into a public, web-based, digital timeline using Tiki-Toki (tiki-toki.com). Students will receive training on the use of Tiki-Toki following the completion of the outside research paper (see week 10 of course schedule). Each student is responsible for signing up for a FREE Tiki-Toki account and the submission of their timeline’s URL by the project due date.
Your grade on the Tiki-Toki project will be based on:
• 750 minimum word count
• 20 minimum stories
• 10 minimum multimedia items (LIBRARY ONLY FOR IMAGES, NO WIKI ANYTHING!!!)
• Minimum of 5 sources used
• Proper Chicago Manual of Style formatted, footnoted bibliographical citations & captions (see Chicago Manual of Style Quick Guide and Image Citation Guide on our RamCT page)
• Quality of overall narrative structure/organization
• Grammatical/spelling mistakes
• Links work properly
• Overall aesthetics/appearance of the timeline
