Read the entire book. Then focus on the \”Forethought\” and FOUR sections. Explain what the chapters are about and how they are connected to the forethought. Next, find FIVE academic sources on The Souls of Black Folk and describe each, explaining how those historians have engaged the work. It is important that your paper be one cohesive essay, integrating all of the sources and the book. Do not just list the articles. Your best bet would be to use the library website to find academic articles. Academic articles are those published by academic journals. The librarian, with whom you can chat online, can help you find appropriate sources. Use Chicago style citations with footnotes. A video explaining footnotes is posted under \”Modules/ Tools.\” There are also links to Chicago formatting and how to determine academic sources. The paper needs to be at least 1500 words.
