The division of labor and how is applicable in current economic world.

Hello I am an international student studying in United States. When you are writing the paper, use basic sentences and soft language, please don’t make any grammatical mistakes. My topic is Adam Smith’s division of labor and compare and contrast two countries and show how division of labor is applicable in current economic world. Before you write the paper, you must read the passages in Adam’s Fallacy (http://digamo.free.fr/duncan06.pdf)

and History of Economic Thought: A critical perspective by E.K. Hunt (https://books.google.com/books?id=92qGOE8821sC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false) which is related to our subject. The division of labor section must be read and you must write accordingly to the books. But do not only write what is in the books or summarizes them. You must use at least 2 other sources maybe The wealth of nations can be a good book. You must do citations from the Adam’s Fallacy and the History of Economic Thought but don’t use direct quotations make phrases when you make citations only use direct quotations when it is very important sentence. Also you have to compare two countries in the research paper. For example, one country could have high division of labor, could have high labor productivity and the another could have less division of labor, could have less labor productivity (for example India) and you can compare and contrast them and show the good effect of division of labor and have is applicable in current economic world. You must find statistical data for a period of time at least 15-20 years and recent data (find at least 2 or 3 data). To demonstrate the data while compare and contrast two countries make tables, figures and graphs to show effect of division of labor and explain the data nicely. Please find related data to our subject labor productivity should be one of them. This is a very important paper for me and my teacher is very careful so don’t make any plagiarisms please. When you are choosing your sources try to find scholar and free access sources which I can only look at them. Below I write my professor’s instructions please read them and understand what is asking. And please don’t write anything unrelated to our subject.

Research Project

This is a longer paper which should contain about 2,500 words. The main idea of this research paper is to develop the work of an economist, a school of thought, a specific concept or a specific debate in the history of economic thought.

Also here you can use graphs, tables or equation(s) if you feel that this material will help to support your main points. The class will give you the necessary theoretical knowledge to develop a research paper but you should try to combine this knowledge with the use of statistics and real data in order to support your main hypothesis. As the previous instructions, this research paper should contain a title, introduction, main body of your research paper, and conclusions. Finally, besides our textbook, you have to use at least 2 scholarly articles. If you need more suggested references go to my office hours!

1. Choose a specific question discussed in class and or in one or more of the assigned readings. Your question will motivate you to see whether economic theory (past and present) is or isn’t applicable to understanding some historical period. Chose a historical period and apply a theoretical question to provide some new insight.

Identify all the passages you can find that discuss the question you have chosen. Read them carefully. Determine what the writer’s major position on the question is, and the key arguments he uses to support his position. You may want to read the passages several times and discuss them with someone else.

2. Incorporate the following elements into your paper:

a) a title explaining the issue you are writing about. You should choose an informative title for your paper, such as “The Division of Labor in the Industrial Revolution”, rather than “Second Paper”.

b) a clear restatement in your own words of the main ideas in the passages you have read, with explicit definitions of the central concepts and all special terms.

c) identification of the specific period and the unique historical problem you are attempting to understand in greater depth

d) a clear analysis of the economic theory, including differences and similarities between the authors period of application

e) the important counterarguments that could be put forward in opposition to the position the writer takes, with an evaluation of their importance and relevance.

f) a conclusion in which you identify whether the theory can help explain the economic event, how the author’s argument is right and helpful, what is weak or unpersuasive, what is left out, and what revisions you feel should be made in assumptions, arguments or conclusions.

3. Please put your name on your paper, number the pages, and proofread your work carefully (the spelling checkers in computer word-processing programs can help here). Look at each sentence to make sure that it is a complete, grammatical, English sentence, that it says something understandable, and that it says what you want it to say. Look at each paragraph to make sure that it develops a single idea or point, that the sentences are in the right order, and that the paragraph fits into your overall argument.
