1. Write and essay of 1,250-1,500 words in which you do the following.
2. Pick out 10-15 hymns in the hymnbook that deal with the topic of human sinfulness in some way. Pick those hymns which deal with the topic in a substantive way.
3. Analyze and summarize the theology of sin presented in the hymns. This should be one third of the paper.
4. Compare and contrast the theology of the hymnbook to the theology of Gen. 1-11. This should be two-thirds of the paper.
