Summarize the role of representation in physical sciences method according to Toulmin (pgs 29-39), relate Toulmin’s account to Galileo’s method (steps 1 and 2) and then use Toulmin to express the contrast between representationalist accounts of the method and the inductivist one (e.g. Toulmin 20,30,31).
