1) Transcribe the interaction in the form of a dialogue and introduce the participants and the setting in the introduction.

2) Describe and analyze the caregivers speech to the infant or child in terms of:
a) The average length of sentences by counting the morphemes in each sentence and categorizing the caregivers morphemes

3) In your paper, explain how distinct the speech that the adult uses with the infant is and why. How does the infant/ child respond to the adults speech? Is there anything that strikes you about the speech that the adult uses and his/her interaction with the infant or the child? Evaluate your findings in relation to course readings and class discussions.
4) Explain how the infant or the child interacts with the caregiver. How is the baby interacting and taking turns in the conversation? Does the baby understand what the caregiver is saying? How do you know? Is the baby expressing communicative intent? Why or why not?
