Introduction

The ability to access movies, TV shows, and music through platforms like Netflix and Spotify has rendered traditional cable television obsolete for many households. The on-demand nature of these services allows viewers to customize their entertainment experience, further enhancing convenience.

In the workplace, computers and computing technologies have become indispensable tools for productivity and collaboration (Cascio & Montealegre, 2016). The shift towards using laptops and cloud-based services has enabled remote work to become more prevalent (Bloom et al., 2015). This transition has had a profound impact on work-life balance, as it allows employees to work from home or other remote locations, reducing commute times and increasing flexibility (Gajendran & Harrison, 2007).

Furthermore, the availability of vast amounts of information through the internet has transformed the way work-related tasks are accomplished. Employees can conduct research, access training materials, and collaborate with colleagues from anywhere with an internet connection (Kane & Anthis, 2017). This has improved problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in various professional roles.

The convenience of communication, online shopping, and entertainment at home has enriched personal experiences. Moreover, the use of telemedicine is likely to become even more prevalent, especially in remote areas where access to healthcare is limited (Mehrotra et al., 2016). This will not only improve patient outcomes but also reduce healthcare costs.

While the evolution of computing in healthcare offers immense potential, it also raises ethical concerns. Privacy and security of patient data become paramount when integrating technology into healthcare systems.
