Examine the six \”first person\” accounts of the battle found at the Texas State Historical Association\’s \”Lone Star History Links\” site, found at http://www.tshaonline.org. At that link go to 4c Texas Revolution, Jan-March 1836 and read accounts of Enrique Esparza, Susanna Dickinson Hanning, Felix Nunez, Vicente Filisola, Francisco Ruiz, and Jose Enrique de la Pena. These are the questions to be answered: What do we know about these people? What brought each of them to the Alamo in 1836? What is similar about the accounts and what is different? What biases are evident? Which account is most believable? Why? Which is the least believable and why? Sources must be cited if not from the textbook or specific link given above.
