Gather information about its products, rivals, markets – both domestic and global, comprehensive capabilities, and competitive strategy. Provide a detailed view of its market position, challenges, and offer a ‘call for action’ in a way of new strategy and/or other adjustments to current course of action as you see fit. Based on text material, develop your own audit of the competitive capabilities of the target company. Namely, the set of characteristics of an organization which facilitate the emergence and management of market dominance and foreign expansion, and the interpretation of such capabilities in the overall strategy of the Walmart.
