I. What Cause Stress
A. There are four types of stressors
1. Anticipatory stressor, encounter stressor, time stressor and situational stressor.
2. Provide the definition of all four.

II. The goal is not to try to avoid stress, but how to manage stress
A. Managing stress and time is one of the most crucial, yet neglected, management skills in a competent manager’s repertoire.
B. An estimated one million workers are absent on an average working day because of stress-related complaints, and approximately 550,000,000 workdays are lost each year due to stress.
C. It is estimated that businesses in the United States alone will spend more than $12 billion on stress management training and products this year (American Institute of Stress, 2000).

I. Stress in the workplace
A. Examples of issues that cause stress in the workplace are bad relationship with colleagues and not meeting production schedules.
B. Too much stress lead to absenteeism.
1. In one survey, 37 percent of workers reported that their stress level at work increased last year, while less than 10 percent say their stress level decreased.
II. Some symptoms in which stress can affect us mentally includes: headaches, muscle tension, fatigue and sometimes even panic attacks.
A. During the death of my Mother and Son, I experienced Emotional stress which causes anxiety, lack of motivation and depression.
B. Emotional stress cause me to loose my focus
C. I found ways to cope with the stress.
D. Joined hospitals with others that had experienced the same situation I had helped me overcome stress.
CONCLUSION
I. Summary
A. Many individuals do not realize when they are stressed, because many do not consult with a Physician for stress, but the goal is not to avoid it, but learn ways to cope with stress.
B. Learning to recognize stress and the symptoms are the key points in coping with stress.
II.
A. Please sign a petition that I will send to our U.S. and state legislators asking them to support a ban.
B. When we go to these parks, we have a right to find peace and quiet.
