My answer to the question”

What is DCT if ethics?

Morality is rooted in the existence of God. Something is deemed either moral or immoral because God says so. If it’s prohibited by God then it’s morally wrong, If something is encouraged or commanded by God then it’s morally right. Its God’s way or the highway.

How does DCT account of ethical facts?

Are things moral and good because God said so or are they moral and good independent of God?

3 Objections from Sober?

Many religions, many different Gods. Even if all religions agree something is wrong, the way it’s reported is disputed. There isn’t any way to show how to find out if its true.

Without understanding of a theory, how do we know it’s true?

If God commands that something is wrong, without prudential or evidential reason his command is then arbitrary therefore, there is no reason to believe that it’s true.

My response
If morality exists only if God exists, does that make morality a fairy tale if God does not exists?
