ORAL HISTORY PROJECT
You need to find someone over the age of 50 and ask them if you could interview them. Ask them at least 5 of the following questions. Type up the interview and turn it in no later than November 4/5, depending on whether you are in the Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday class.
What is the greatest historical event you have lived through?
In what ways do you think America has changed over the course of your life?
Were you ever in the military? If so, did you see combat?
Are you a feminist?
When you think about the future, are you hopeful for America?
Were you an immigrant? If so, where were you born?
What was your experience as an immigrant to America?
How has technology changed since you were a child?
What kinds of toys did you play with as a child?
Do you believe life in America was better when you were a child or now?
