1- Read the entire piece assigned for (CLEVELAND 239-271), especially and familiarize yourself with the birth of Palestine-Israel question. Name of the book is (A History of the Modern Middle East).
2- Watch the following videos;
3- Write a summative analysis with the help of the following questions (you are more the welcome to pose your own question);
– What is the main argument in the secondary source and both of the videos about the events surrounding the foundation of Israel?
– Which video reflects the Arab view, which the Israeli one? Which account seems more accurate, objective or neutral? Why?
– How do the Arabs and Israelis present themselves and the other party in the videos?
– Does each video provide a **complete** account of the events? if no, what do they omit and why?
-How do the videos use pictures, music, and facts to support their argument?
