What seems sort of ‘ho-hum’ or not very useful?

write up a loosely structured piece of writing (300-350 words) where you discuss what this chapter tries to teach you (or any reader) about ‘reading strategies.’ I’m particularly interested in how the chapter builds upon (if at all) what you already have learned about critical reading in your previous schooling. You can organize/arrange what you write however you want (paragraphs or bullets, for example). Don’t feel like you have to write an essay here (with an intro, body, and conclusion). That’s not needed.

If you need help getting started, think about the following questions: What from the chapter was more or less review for you? What from the chapter is ‘new’ for you? And from the ‘new’ material, what seems useful as a good reading strategy? What seems sort of ‘ho-hum’ or not very useful?

Basically, what I’m looking for here is for you to discuss your reaction/response to this chapter’s content by placing that content in the context of your previous experience and knowledge of critical reading (or strategic reading).
