You will be assigned to a team to develop a Marketing plan. Your team will also prepare a 10-minute presentation about your marketing plan and organization; everyone in the team will participate in the presentation to the class. The purpose of this project is to give you a hands on experience in the process of developing a marketing plan and working in a team. This project accounts for a significant part of your grade in the class, so you have been allotted several class sessions to work with your team during our regular class time. Plan so that you use the time during class wisely; make sure your teammates attend class. Come to class prepared to work. Bring the appropriate materials so you have something to work with.Of the 100 points available from the project, the team earns 70, with the balance earned by individual effort. Only list the names of the team members on each assignment who have contributed to that particular assignment. If you already have a company or product you want to develop a marketing plan for, you can do that alone or as a team. Once you know what you are marketing, then you can begin the mission, strategic plan/focus, and situation analysis. Once you know what you aim to accomplish, then you can develop your plan.
