For this assignment, you will write 1,000 word essay about one of the readings from the fairy tales we have been examining. Your essay should stake a debatable claim, or thesis, about some aspect or element of your chosen text, and proceed to develop/ support that claim by engaging literary devices at play in the text (See the Blackboard link to a discussion of major literary devices, and we will discuss these devices at length in the weeks to come). As with all typed work you turn in for this course, the paper needs to follow MLA formatting as laid out in the Manual
