Englewood Cliffs, N.J.: Prentice-Hall, 1984) is your best resource for specific court cases addressing assessment issues. You should supplement the information from the textbook with other sources, however.

At the conclusion of the case brief, write an analysis of the impact of the court cases on the current assessment process for students with disabilities. Include the following in your written analysis:
• What has changed (or hasn’t changed) as a result of each court case?
• Are outcomes for students with disabilities any better as a result of these court cases?
• Is the assessment process different? Provide examples to support your response.
