Final Research Paper (Worth 40 %): During the dialogue, students will write an extensive research paper (12-16 pages) critically examining a piece of British culture, a historical event, or person. Topics will vary; see me for approval. You must have a thesis statement which clearly states what you will prove in your paper and how it ties into British culture.
Your thesis statement (1-2 paragraphs – outlining what you wish to argue and prove in your paper and the elements you will cover specifically in the paper to do so), along with a list of sources.
Each paper should reference 6-8 scholarly sources. Topics will vary and sources will be dependent on thesis statement and topic; sources will be researched independently by students.
