Write-up from field trip to River Dove and River Lathkill this should examine fish-pass restoration technique. and ascertain how it worked in the situations you observed and place/contrast where it has been used elsewhere and in the context of the literature for example the Dove Management Plan.
In summary there is no set format so it can follow a direction you wish to follow, but would be looking for an Introduction outlining the technique you have selected that we observed on the field course and what it is typically used for. You do not need a Methods section – then outline the technique you observed and how successful it has been or not been and the reasons why (important). If technique was used at both sites then could compare and contrast. Tables and figures from other papers/documents can be included and correctly cited. Then place the technique in context of the wider literature i,e, how say in fish passage it been used to enhance salmon within the catchment or can be compared to other locations where it has been used. Would expect some references in this section. Maybe finish with a Summary or Conclusion section.
