- The wildwood center has a staff of 25 teachers and assistants. Staff meets are held weekly for administrative staff, weekly for leads and assistants, and quarterly meetings for all staff. Ther is always much to discuss. Members are asked via the center’s email system to provide feedback on agenda items prior to each meeting. Agendas are distributed that require staff input. Some staff enthusiastically respond to written request for information and talk during the meeting while others staff remain very quiet even with prompting and do not respond to written request for information. The director, Mrs. Garcia, wants to provide a balance at each meeting so that no on dominates the discussion. She doesn’t want to issue warnings to staff who do not respond to her memos for information. Mrs. Garcia is aware that staff who are quiet have concerns but does not know how to help them feel more comfortable at staff meetings.

The parents are not English speaking and are new to the usa. The parents send their son to school in pull ups.
