She could be easily termed as promiscuous and full of sexual desires and fantasies. She in essence propagates and seems to admire infidelity and other sexually perverted activities. She also illustrates her newfound racial anxiety and attraction for racial Indian men in comparison to white men she had developed hate or and a great level of attraction. In addition, her character is deceitful. She finds the urge to cheat on her husband, an urge driven by the need to have new sexual exploits.
In addition, she incidentally finds him unattractive at times given that she still wants to remain married to him. Hence, she wants to have both sides of the world because she wants to remain married to him given that he is “handsome” and “clean” and still wants to retain the ability to explore her sexual needs and desires. This is evidenced as she pictures the Indian man with whom she is fulfilling her sexual escaped with as identical to her husband. Furthermore, the she still contemplates of having sexual encounters with an older woman and recalls of precisely three lesbian encounters, which she had managed to revoke.
The author uses first hand narrations to illustrate her senses as she describes her various characters with the aim of enabling the audience to understand her lust and hidden sexual desires. Within the same context, she is able to illustrate her immoral character as she intends to illustrate of events, which are common in the modern marriages.

The author exhibits good oratory skills with the aim of attracting or pulling in the readers towards the themes of the story. The vivid presentation of facts by the author is an indication of the need to give exemplary and elaborate events. Presentation of facts in terms of details is paramount within individual narration for enabling the reader to understand vivid thoughts and events within the literature. In addition, the narrator enables the audience to understand of the feelings of inability to control. He presents the feelings of flooded emotions with the aim of giving the reader an emotional perspective before presentation of judgment about the narrator’s condition and his various feelings of segregation.
In addition, the author also exercises activity and dreaming to illustrate the various vents and particularly his seemingly abnormal habits making him an outcast among his peers. Furthermore, his actions evolve with every stage of development as he adopts new means of dealing with his claimed tics or incidences of tics whereby he feels uneasy or unable to concentrate. In addition, various stages of the tics are an indication of the level of maturity, which varies, with every age advancement phase. In addition, the gradual development of his ability to control his needs and desires has been related with his age hence it can be concluded that his age has a great role to play in the development of his habits. From the moral perspective of the story, various faults within each individual become evident. Hence, people leave habits, which they have accrued since they were young individuals. Habits are necessitated by our ages, some becoming irrelevant for ages prompting us to adopt new behavior or habits with the aim of becoming mature. He elaborates his views about the world in a chronological order through illustrations given by the various ages he attains such that he slowly manages to wriggle out of his eccentric conduct.
