You are to write a paper pertaining Grennan, C. (2010). Little princes: One man’s promise to bring home the lost children of
Nepal. New York, NY: HarperCollins.
The late penalty is 10% per day (including weekends).
The critique must be 3 pages in length (12 pt., Times New Roman, 1 inch margins on all sides, APA format). Papers can be a quarter of a page above or below the 3 page limit (i.e., 2.75 pages or 3.25 pages). Content that exceeds the 3.25 page mark will not be read nor considered in the paper’s grade. Papers that do not meet the 2.75 page expectation will likely not be comprehensive in scope and the authors should thus expect to receive a reduction in grade.
Organization, spelling, grammar, etc, are all extremely important. Should you have questions or concerns about your writing, please visit the academic writing centre. A great online resource for grammar can be found at: . You will be provided with a detailed marking scheme on Blackboard.
This critique is NOT a summary – it comments on and evaluates the book in light of specific issues and concerns. As such, you are allowed no more than four sentences of summary. You may use only assigned readings from this course as reference material. Some of the issues that you should address include the following:
• What is the author’s goal in writing this book?
• What/how does this text contribute to your understanding of global health (if at all)? (use concepts from class)
• Why is this text important (or not)? (use concepts from class)
You will require a full reference list in APA format.
NO PLAGIARISM. YOU WILL BE CAUGHT!
I will provide all of my powerpoint lectures
