Essay

The endocrine system is considered to be one of the most integrative systems within the human body.
Discuss this in an essay format with a word count of 1000 words. Please include an image of the glands of the endocrine system as an appendix to your essay – you must label this image yourself. (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3)

Task 2

Homeostasis means ‘keeping the internal environment of the body balanced’. Explain homeostasis with reference to both positive and negative feedback mechanisms. Mechanisms to be explained are – oxytocin in a normal labour and the control of glucose levels in the body.
You must include flowchart diagrams to support these two homeostatic processes, these will need to be drawn, scanned or photographed and inserted into your assignment. (2.1, 2.2)
