CASE ASSIGNMENT:
Submit a Problem Improvement Document which will demostrate your ability to improve a problem situation using the Improve Phase of DMAIC on McDonalds.
READ THE REQUIRED READINGS IN BACKGROUND IN WHICH IS UPLOADED INTO THE FILES – Become familiar with the outline and contents of the Improvement Phase.
FOLLOW THE STEPS OUTLINE IN THE BACKGROUND IN WHICH IS UPLOADED INTO THE FILES.
USE THE IMPROVE PHASE REPORT OUTLINE IN WHICH IS UPLOADED INTO THE FILES.
ASSIGNMENT EXPECTATIONS:
(1) Differentiate the various relevant aspects of the situation and develop an improvement solution to the problem at the Blackbelt level using various tools of the Improve Phase.
(2) Organize the appropriate information into a coherent report.
– Use the Improve Phase Report Outline provided.
– Be sure to use Topic Headings that correspond to the major topics.
(3) The report should contain all the necessary and sufficient aspects to completely define the problem.
– Include copies of various tools that were used.
– Provide discussion and explanation where appropriate and necessary.
– Include sources of documentation
– Include examples of reports used to generate evidence and data.
(4) Upload the report into the Case 4 Assignment. You may also upload supplemental documents into Additional Files (Case 4).
(5) The length of the paper should be as long as necessary to include all of the appropriate information.
