Do you think that the NCVS should include a series of questions on homicide to be used in interviews with family members of homicide victims?

The NCVS does not gather information on homicide, because (obviously!) the victim cannot be interviewed. Do you think that the NCVS should include a series of questions on homicide to be used in interviews with family members of homicide victims? Would this help advance our understanding of homicide? What effect might questions of this type have on the people being interviewed?
