Using description as your main pattern of development, tell me about one of the following: “Your worst trip to the dentist.”
Use a discernible method of organizing your thoughts (chronological, emphatic, spatial, etc.). The essay should be between 500 and 600 words. NO MORE, NO LESS [frag].
Narration, that is, storytelling, may be (and probably will be) a secondary pattern of development, but this is a descriptive essay.
At the end of your essay, write the DOMINANT IMPRESSION your were attempting to convey.
If you use sentence fragments or comma splices for some particular purpose, make sure that you identify them by placing [frag] or [cs], respectively, at the end of the fragment or comma splice.
