The purpose of essay is to discuss the influences that technology has on our daily lives. The essays must be written in MLA format and should be a minimum of 5-6 double-spaced pages. The essay also must be written in Times New Roman or Arial font. No Courier New font. Technology has made leaps and bounds in the area of communication. Just a few short decades ago there were few options to communicate with people that lived only miles away. Now, the options to communicate are seemingly limitless. We have unprecedented access to friend, family, and information, but is this access always a good thing? We tend to filter ourselves and our speech less, while filtering the heavily filtering the information that we read and listen to. How has technology affected the ways that we communicate? Are these affects positive, negative, or both? Use text, film, and/or personal information to support your ideas.
