To complete this 35 pt assignment, you should have located a minimum of 5 references to choose from that relate to your research topic. It is preferable that you found a major review in terms of a literature review, position stand, position paper, research digest, or meta-analysis on your topic as one major secondary source (this was the Module 2 assignment). Only 2 of the 5 references should be secondary sources and the remaining 3 primary research articles about your topic.

You will need to continue to collect up to 10 references by sorting through many more to secure 10 quality references for the final AB due in Module 7.

This last step, your interpretation and how the reference relates both in methodology and results to other references you are analyzing is important in building a consensus for your topic; ie., what is the research overall saying.

Secondary source annotations should discuss the important facts presented in the paper including detailed information about the topic, as well as a similar analysis of the information concerning the topic. Note that you are always linking your writing back to the research topic; each AB should be an extended paragraph in length.

Here is a sample of what the assigned writing should consist of both in content and writing style using the APA style. Note that the 4th and 5th references are secondary sources and the other 3 are primary; you can use up to 2 secondary of the 5. Again, also note that the bibliography is in correct APA style, 12 point Times New Roman font, and spacing (7 points each AB = 35 possible points).
