Joseph Kony

As you are aware, there is a global campaign waged by the Invisible Children Movement to raise public awareness around the world about the atrocities committed by Joseph Kony and his Lords Resistance Army. The ultimate goal of this campaign dubbed Kony 2012 is to get regular citizens to pressure their governments to work cooperatively and on a global scale to arrest Kony and bring him to justice at the International Criminal Court. In the United States, the goal of the campaign is to get citizens to pressure U.S. government officials to support the Ugandan Army and African Union troops by sending weapons, expertise, and even military advisors to help arrest Kony.
Write a two to three page paper (double spaced, 12 font, and one inch margins) answering the following questions:
Do you think that what Kony is and has been doing is wrong?
Do you think it would be a good thing if Kony was brought to justice?
Who do you think should bring him to justice?
What if those who you think should bring Kony to justice cant do it alone? Would you support the United States involvement?
If you support some kind of American assistance what level of involvement do you support? Meaning, how far would you be willing to go in lending a hand to the Ugandan or African Union troops or whoever in getting Kony? Weapons and technology alone? Arms? Advisors? Navy Seals to track and arrest Kony?
If you dont support any American involvement in any way, are you comfortable going to sleep at night with a clear conscience knowing that you could have supported and helped do something to get Kony brought to justice but you chose to do nothing instead? If so why?
