Research Proposal Document. This assignment requires students to put together a RPD, which forms the basis for their Masters Dissertations. In it they identify a topic, outline their research aims and objectives, do a short literature review on the topic, identify and discuss appropriate methodologies and provide a projected timescale for their Masters Dissertations. Appropriate supervisors for Masters dissertations are identified on the basis of the RPD.
Those students who choose to exit with a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business will have learned how to put together a research proposal on an international business issue which will be of interest on a practical level (to employers or future employers) as well on an academic level. Prior to submission of their research proposal documents students will be aided by having workshops on developing research proposal documents, to ensure that they are proceeding along the correct lines.
