Since Atheism is proven to be rising, will people eventually lose sight of the religions?Discuss

My topic is about atheism and my research question is “Since Atheism is proven to be rising, will people eventually lose sight of the religions?” My primary research carries a big part in this whole research paper since in order for this social phenomenon to be well understood, it has to be from experience since many people have varying opinions on the matter and unfortunately many are bias. I am conducting the results using a questionnaire since atheism is a very sensitive topic to be asking about here in Egypt due to the whole idea being a taboo or how people might react to the non-believers. Also, the people I’ll be surveying are people that I trust since they are friends or friends of friends and before all this I guaranteed them that this will be between us and will stay anonymous so an interview was never a good idea and I’ll be contacting them using email or social media in general.
The survey includes 10 questions; first, they will be asked about why they became atheists and whether this social phenomenon has increased between them and the people they know hence I will be able to partially answer my research question which tackles whether atheism is increasing and the religions are losing sight. My literature review was very similar to the questionnaire since it was divided, which means, it didn’t all revolve around only one thing so the first 8 questions are basically to support the claims made by the research I have conducted so I can get a better understanding on the reasons for and go somewhere rather than leaving the matter unsettled.
The secondary research I have done talks about how atheists are treated in general but doesn’t really focus on how they are treated here in Egypt so I want to pay good attention to this is why the survey is useful since this is basically the part I am missing and what is needed to complete the whole research.
My target audience is from different places in Egypt since I don’t want it to be focused on a certain group since if I do this, the answers/research will be invalid because I can’t answer my research question based on one particular group. Moreover, the age is 18-21 since people at that age are the most people influenced by society since as psychological studies have proved; they begin to form their personalities and beliefs.
As I mentioned above, this topic is very sensitive so it has to be conducted on the internet because the people wouldn’t want direct contact due to the fact of someone being put at risk because of a survey. A problem I thought I would face but haven’t is that atheists might be afraid to answer or state their opinion due to the acts being taken towards them in Egypt so I kept my questions straight to the point and nothing was or could be held against them by all means.
