Affirmative action has been a topic of the past and is still a relevant one in the present day; although some may feel it has died down some. The original intent of affirmative action was to level the playing field and ensure minority groups were treated fairly during the employment process. Since the evolution of affirmative action, plenty of things has changed. But let’s focus on one thing about last 40+ years: “Has affirmative action been consistently and effectively used to create a more robust and productive workforce?”
