Using the logic and content of the “Supply Chain Story” explain to management what supply chain strategies might be worth exploring for our company and why.

You will be making a 7 minute (uninterrupted … although I may/will interrupt for questions and challenges) presentation to the executive management of a firm of your choosing (one where you can likely get access to an annual report and perhaps public disclosure documents like a 10k or 10Q). Your assignment will be to discuss one of two tracks of improvement logic:
1) Using the logic and content of the “Supply Chain Story” explain to management what supply chain strategies might be worth exploring for our company and why.

this is NOT a definition speech where you take each major term described in the exam question (D2L session 15 prompt) or in the supply chain story line and tell me what it means. This IS an exercise in considering the supply chain story and the company’s current situation and to the best of your ability assembling a plan of inquiry and possible execution around how you would suggest we improve the company’s supply chain. You will be evaluated on

a) the breadth of your study and knowledge of the company’s business model, current market strategies, and
• b) the depth of how well you weave the strategies outlined in the Supply Chain Story into your explanation as to why we should explore these strategies for use in “our” company.

you don’t have a long time so the emphasis should be on the ANSWER you recommend being stated early and a well-structured OUTLINE of your recommendations to be pursued following. Be fact-based and to the point but also work on your skills in engaging the executive and inviting conversation through clever idea-posing and opportunity summary.
Comments from Support Team: You can use the Starbucks company or any other that you can access the financial report.
Format: Other:3-4 slides, speakers notes should be for 7 minutes speech
