-I will also be adding my own additions from other course texts that will have a more political vs. cultural tone but feel free to work within whatever boundaries you are most comfortable with. The relevant historical timeframe ranges from Mongol rule to the Soviet area. With special influence and attention on the differences between “Orientalism” and “Eurasianism” and the historical identities/controversies associated with each.
