Disseminating Evidence
Dissemination of evidence gathered is an important aspect in any research. The findings or the results need to be conveyed to the relevant stakeholders for an action to be taken. Therefore finding appropriate strategies to disseminate the evidence is vital.
In this case, the best method of disseminating the results to key stakeholders and greater nursing community is through media coverage. Various media resources interested in the health related stories exist and using the media will ensure that the results reach them. Another reason for using this strategy is because autism is a problem that affects many families in the country suffering in silence. Using the media will give the researcher an opportunity to access a larger number of audience which is dispersed across the country and this will be essential in helping in management of the disorder. The key stakeholders are also part of the larger community and they will get the results through the media to enable them take appropriate measures of managing it appropriately (Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, 2001). There are different sources of media that will be used to disseminate these results such as through television, newspaper and radio outlets. The information to be disseminated will be relayed in simple language to enhance understanding. Therefore, public media will play crucial role in ensuring all the stakeholders including nursing community access to the evidence to enable them take amicable action. Even though such media may have some limitations such as limited airspace and space to cover the findings, the information will be structured or packaged in a manner that will enhance quicker understanding. Therefore, this change will be resolved through such initiatives or mechanism.
